Thomas Franklin’s life has reached a point that he always dreamed that it would be but never truly believed that it would. His only wish is that he could find a girl like Holden did in CeCe. He thought he did at one time before they had ever become famous but after one night he never saw her again. When he agrees to be a special guest for Cage Phillips with an event, he never would have thought that he would once again run into Lila but there she was. He’s determined that he will not let her go without at least trying to talk to her but when she once again disappears, he never would have imagined the secret that she had kept from him for the past seven years, nor how that secret would change his life forever.I fell in love with Thomas in the very first book. He was so sweet where Holden was a complete douche at first. Thomas never once faltered though and backed off when he saw that Holden had feelings for her. He’s the one of those perfect good guys even when he lost his way a bit and I was so happy that he’s finally getting his own story. This book was amazing! I loved every minute of Lila and Thomas’ story except the end and that’s only because I wasn’t ready for it to end on another cliffhanger. I can only hope that part six comes out soon because I can’t wait to find out how this story will end.

A must read. the whole series of Nashville are some of the best books written and will have you cheering them on. You will be happy, sad, and want to cry. If you believe in love then you really need to read these books. If you don't believe then you defiantly need to read these books cause they will make you believe. Ms. Cooper is a very talented writer, and you will love her too. Please read you won't be disappointed.
Thomas had one night with Lila and he never forget her. Little did he know she would never forget him either. She had Lexie to always remind her of him. When Macie takes her to a show for her birthday they cross paths again and she has to leave because something is wrong with Lexie. He doesn't give up he finds them and tries to make things right. Can't wait for the next part to see where it goes......
I loved the Nashville series!! All of the characters in this series were so real, so much like anyone you would hopefully know in your own life!! Thomas' story finally comes out in this book and at times it's not easy. He does what a real man would do in order to insure a happy ever after. Inglath Cooper can weave a storyline that takes you through the highs and lows of her characters lives and you still come out in the end up-lifted and very happy that you were able to share a part of their lives.
Finally!! I loved reading books 1-4 about CeCe and Holden, and now I'm so excited to read more about Thomas, a character that was hard not to fall in love with during the first books.
Thomas is in the band Barefoot Outlook with Holden and CeCe, his two best friends. He is a sweet guy, with a heart of gold. After years of never wanting to settle down, he is looking to find what Holden and CeCe have.
Lila, a girl he was with quite a few years ago, is someone he's never forgotten. When their paths cross, it is clear how much chemistry these two have. I don't want to give too much away, but there is something that ties them together, something Thomas could never imagine.
Lila is a sweet girl who has been through some very tough years, but still manages to keep positive and push on. She is such a strong character. I love seeing a different side to Thomas when they are together, too.
This book ends on a cliffhanger like the other books in the series do, and I can't wait for book six to see what happens!!
This book was a little emotional, I always knew Thomas was amazing, but the guy has a heart of gold. He melted my heart when he figured out that Lexie was his daughter, the way he wanted to be a part of her life, he was so amazing with her, it made me cry. I loved Macy such a devoted, sweet, caring friend. It hurt my heart the way the neighbor hurt his dog Brownie, I wanted to choke the guy, so glad they were able to help Brownie, hope he is ok. Love the connection Thomas and Lila still have, gives me goosebumps. I didn't want Lila and Thomas story to end , I can't wait for the next book, it's so good. The whole Nashville series is amazing if you haven' t read any of them, get started, they are all so worth it.
[Mild spoilers] Seriously -- they are in the middle of a crisis situation, speeding down the road, and then it just says "The End." What..??? I have this old-fashioned notion that a book should tell a story. This book does not. It starts to...but it does not. I understand that it is part of a 10-book series, but each book should really have something to say on its own. It just makes it seem manipulative, like the author is trying to break the series into more books than it should be.
