The Favor of God

I got an extremely shocking news today. And I knew, If it wasn't for God. I would never have had this chance. That's why I'm here to say.. Thank you Lord So much for this opportunity!

It's hard to explain. So if you wanna know, read this parental letter from my church and it tells you.. LOL.

31st March 2009

Dear Parents,

I am pleased that your daughter, Angelina has been selected to play as part of the ACTS 29 Worship team in an Easter Praise & Worship called 'THE JESUS FESTIVAL' in the Philippines from the 7th to 9th April 2009. The event is organised by Pastor Rommel Gueverra and will take place at The Amphitheater which is set against the scenic Marikina River near to Manila and Quezon City. The Amphitheater has a capacity for 20,000 persons. It has a space for a wide stage which makes it ideal for musical concerts, entertainment shows, stage plays, religious assemblies, graduations, sports tournaments and other large-group gatherings. It is expected that 5,000 to 10,000 people will be attending THE JESUS FESTIVAL.

This will be great opportunity for our youths to participate, perform and most of all lead to worship in THE JESUS FESTIVAL. In fact, some of our youths have received a promise from the Lord recently in our youth camp held last week that they will be playing in front of thousands of people. It is amazing that such an opportunity is coming along their way in such a short time.

I do apologise that this has come at such short notice. The reason being the Organiser had tried to contact me on email addresses that I am no longer using. When I contacted him yesterday, he then extended the invitation for our team to participate in THE JESUS FESTIVAL. As the team will need to fly out from Brunei to Manila on Monday, 6th April 2009, we will need an answer to whether you will allow your daughter to participate by 12 noon, wednesday, 1st April 2009 as the travel agent needs to do the ticketing latest by 6pm, Wednesday, 1st April 2009. I will in my best endeavour also try to raise the funds necessary for the whole team to travel. The team will be returning back to Brunei on the 10th April 2009. The full flight schedule will be given in due course. For your kind information, I myself will be accompanying the team to Manila together with another adult. Please do uphold us in your precious prayers as we finalise the necesary arrangements.

So yea. I am really nervous and happy at the same time. Happy because I have this opportunity to play keyboard in a foreign country. And nervous because I will be playing in front of thousands of people!

Lastly I just wanna say, I sincerely thank the Lord for opening doors for 7 of us.

I cant wait to serve God and also I cant wait for this Awesome Trip!!

I'm back home once again. As I have mentioned earlier on in my posts, that I will be so busy this whole week. (23rd-29th March) that includes tomoro.

Our annual youth camp!

Theme: Freedom

I have been attending my church youth camp. And it was fun. First time being a leader. I've just realized that it wasnt easy at all. But I'm glad that I had the chance to serve GOD. Also to provide great hospitality to my fellow new campers. They were great people.

Our team is called the Trendsetters. We have our own War Cry. Every team is asked to compose their own war cry. I'm glad I have 2 amazing Assistant leaders, Alisa and Ceasar. They helped me out alot and This is what we came out with:

So yes. That's our War cry a.k.a Cheer. Apparently, out of six teams, Ours came 2nd for the war cry. That's not bad. *laughs* and Since I have Maricel in my team to do the team banner. what else should I worry? She is such a great Artist! I salute her.

Secondly, After the 3days of youth camp. The second day, I had to go help out in the Kid's Games. That's another 3days. And i tell u. It's really not easy to control kids. There are difficult ones. But im glad, by God's grace. I was able to handle them patiently. In fact. I had loads of fun. Although i lost my voice from the youth camp and kids games, I'm stil glad that I got to have so much fun this week. (Nevertheless the lack of sleep)

Anyways, I'm back home now. Blogging. As tomorrow is a gonna be a special day. I wonder what day? hmmm.. the number 29th. Does it sound familiar to my Andrew? =P

HAPPY 1 YEAR 5 MONTHS!!!

Yea. I'm glad that I am with Andrew til this very day. I cant wait to see him in June. =) xoxo!!

Ps. I felt that life was best when I served GOD this whole week! =)

Come on! I just saw this lady outside my house. Picking her nose in front of me.
She saw me. Yet she doesnt seem to bother. And continues to pick?!! Wth.

Farting

Though of course I wish to see someone fart under water. Cause i find it soo cool.
As it doesnt stink. True ok? xD
But if someone farts on land. I would pretend that I didnt hear anything.
*whistles* Even if it smells. I would just hold my breath.


Spitting


I can take people spitting in drains. But not from car windows. O.O

I have ever witnessed someone spitting out of a car window. (Not my dad la. Thank god)
I could Literally see the thick-yellowish-sticky phlegm swaying out into the air.

It was sooo disgusting!

Short and sweet

I have 1 month and 8 days till I leave for KL. ='( The days are just round the corner. My gosh. And there goes.. Me going off to UCSI. on the 25th april.

I have 2 feelings.
(1) I'm looking forward because I love I.D and I wanna go to CHC so badly. Of course, seeing my Andrew in June. I cant wait!
(2) I'm not because I miss my family and Friends back here. And I dont wanna be left alone In KL.

My, my second reason makes sound like a baby. Tsk tsk.

Anyways, I will be super busy next week. Packed with Church Camp from the 23-25th March and 26th-28th March kids games. I'm not playing. Just be a good big Jie Jie who helps out the lil innocent cute kids.

See-food Lover

I finally went for sushi!! FINALLY! With Sally and friends.

I have been craving for that since last month. 8th Feb 2009, to be exact. No Sushi kills me ok?

Imagine after i get to KL, It will be so expensive to buy sushi there. Plus, the sushi in Malaysia aint as good as we think it is. Because Brunei provides BETTER sushi!! Fresh ones. The succulent sashimi~~ mmm~~~!!! xD

Anyways, to be exact, I love both sushi and Seafood. Im too lazy to blog all different pictures of my favourite Seafood.

Because all you need to know is.. I love sushi = raw. Not the cooked ones. Eww! Spoils the taste. Some people do find me disgusting. But its ok. That's just me. I do not eat sushi with soy sauce neither wasabi. Thats just soo.. eeeerrrr...

Tuna tastes good.

Especially white tuna. I love RAW white tuna.

Stingray

Bbq Stingray is good. With the Limau Kasturi.

Oyster

SOTONG!!!

Squid just seems to be so well known when it's called sotong. And i never know why.
Only in Brunei. Obviously. Duh!

Salmon

This is like the ultimate one. The RAW orangy-red succulent, tender flesh is just...
Heavenly. It's the best fish ever in my book. I do love Alaska fish Fillet.

But I seldom get to eat that. sigh

Mussel

Buttered Mussels are nice.


Lastly, the one and only food which is not from the sea but it's always served at seafood restaurants. Please do not puke. Because I find this soooo tasty!!

Blogging about this makes me think about my baby Andrew. It's like these people are in the same category as he is. The Eurasian Species. I'm not being biased but I really do feel that Eurasians are so good looking. I have many friends who are mixed, and I can tell you that, both girls and guys, are equally gorgeous and hot! I cant deny that fact. I think I know around 5 or 6 Eurasians (excluding my baby). None of them are average looking but super good looking! I also know some mixed Asians, lets say, chinese&indian, chinese&iban, they are attractive too!

Please dont get me wrong because Some Eurasians can go wrong! But the chances of that happening is soooooooo low!!! One good Eg. is Hong Kong Actor Anthony Wong. He is 1/2 British, 1/2 chinese. He looks a lil.. errrr to me. ahaahahah!! Actresses like Kelly Hu, Karen Mok are eurasians too. Dang! I never knew that! But they are just ok ok looking to me.

Well, everyone has their own taste. Whats your taste? ;)

Ps. My white baby rules no matter what. ;) that's my taste.

University!!!

Hey ho its been a while since ive actually come online and blogged, but ive been kind of busy...well I say kind of but actually ive just been a bit dry on what I could actually say. My Angie however just told me that she's god an idea to blog so i thought that I would come online and blog first=) then you all can read this...be entertained to some extent though i feel im not the best at blogging as my Angie has said I am the baby blogger...anyways. UNIVERSITY'S is the big thing that i wanted to talk about because over the weekend i got an offer for Loughborough and though its not the first place i would like to go to at least its somewhere right.


So anyway I got an offer of!!!

Excluding General Studies =(

An ok offer i must say. so hope i can get the grades so that it can be my back up=D haha. so yes. another thing i should mention. what is General Studies i hear you say...well. General Studies is the most useless exam in existence, its so pointless in fact that we don't even have a lesson for it. that is how pointless it is. so basically all we do is nothing and when the exam comes we sit it, get an A and hope that the University that we applied for didnt say anything about it. It is that easy...It's multiple choice too and there's only one writting paper...so yes.. that's how useless it is=P i just hope that i will be offered a place for an apprenticeship first=P because that is my first choice. want to be able to get an apprenticeship so that i can get some job experience and not only that but earn some money too=D so that will be good.

My lovely Angie has alreayd gotten into Uni and will be going to study this April already. Its so fast. It's already been more than a year since ive gotten together with my beautiful Angelina Tan=) so im so happy that she has this oppurtunity to further her studies and though we are still so far apart our relationship is still going so strong=) but of course i still want her to do well in her studies=) know that she will do so well as my Angie is so so smart=) cant wait to see her in July=) spend time with her, going to be fun=) Will always be by her side and supporting her because i want her to do so so well=) i love her so much and will end this Blog by dedicating it to my Angie=) that i love her so much and feel she is so so GORGEOUS and that i will always always love her and be hers=) love you my Angie=) never let you go=)
